Common Appliance Problems
Refrigerator not cooling or cooling less – very common that condenser coils are dirty and clogged with lint and dust. Without sufficient air circulation fridge compressor will be running non stop and temperature will rise.
Dryer not heating up – common cause could be heating element or resistor for electric dryers and ignition coil failure in gas dryers.
Washing machine not draining – most often the cause for clothes washer not draining water is failed drain pump. Washers with digital display will display error code like F21 or 0E.
Dishwasher not cleaning dishes – if appliance operates normally but after the wash cycle dishes still have bits of food stuck – common cause could be clogged spay arms, or dishwasher is recirculating dirty water due to clogged filter.
